Patrick Drew

Patrick’s experience spans more than thirty years, including executive and entrepreneurial roles at Accenture, Trilogy Development Group, i2 Technologies and o9 Solutions. Recently, he has been an active investor and operational advisor to start-ups in the Austin area.

In the course of his 10 years at Accenture, Patrick collaborated with a number of global clients, driving the implementation of new technologies into large corporate environments. Straight out of Silicon Valley startups, these new technologies later inspired Patrick to join Trilogy as VP of Client Services. As an early employee at Trilogy, Patrick helped grow the company to approximately 100 employees while dramatically improving profitability for the group.

Patrick later joined i2 Technologies at a very early stage, holding a variety of posts in a 9-year period. i2 rapidly grew to 5000 employees, approximately $1 billion in annual revenue, and went public – all while redefining the supply-chain management space globally. Patrick’s responsibilities at i2 included driving sales expansion into new industry and geographic markets and, later, leading the High-Tech Business Unit in Central Europe.

Patrick’s recent investments include BME – an orthopedic implant start-up in San Antonio (sold to J&J), Challenge Games in Austin (sold to Zynga), Vyopta – an Austin-based Unified Communications monitoring software company and Onit – a Houston-based legal software company.n.

Patrick received his undergraduate degree from Vanderbilt and an MBA from the University of Texas at Austin. He and his family have lived in Austin for the past 25 years. In his free time, Patrick enjoys playing tennis, flying and traveling.
