GROW YOUR IDEA INTO A VIABLE PRODUCT
The Texas Startup Incubator prepares students to practice business fundamentals in entrepreneurship, test an idea, and determine market viability of a product. Students will learn business fundamentals such as an overview of the vertical’s industry, understanding the customer, developing a product, sizing an addressable market, assessing the competitive landscape, navigating regulatory requirements, building a business model, identifying a team, and choosing a funding strategy.
Completing a Texas Startup lncubator course will satisfy Requirement 5 of the Entrepreneurship Minor program.

Food and Beverage Practicum
This course is an experiential leadership practicum providing students with a hands-on learning opportunity in the food and beverage industry, either building or working with a student startup. During the summer semester, students work in teams with food and beverage startups founded by UT Austin students.
