Encourage, Engage, Educate, Empower
Here at the Herb Kelleher Entrepreneurship Center, we strive to be the finest academic research and teaching center focused on entrepreneurship in the U.S., and serve as a hub for Longhorn innovators. We bring together financial resources, leading entrepreneurs, students, and faculty from multiple disciplines, colleges, and universities. Together, we develop and communicate new knowledge about entrepreneurship and the entrepreneurial processes, develop and deliver outstanding programs in entrepreneurship, and encourage and facilitate the development of successful entrepreneurs.
OUR MISSION & FOUNDER
Named for the founder of Southwest Airlines and inspired by his unwavering dedication to positive change, the Herb Kelleher Entrepreneurship Center makes it our mission to help students’ visions take flight. The HKEC reflects Herb's vision and passion in both name and spirit.
It's not just about knowledge – it's also about community. Together our dedicated staff, generous donors, and passionate Advisory Board make up a community that truly believes, “What Starts (Up) Here Changes The World.”
